That the violence and bloodshed will cease,that the doctors will heal and save, that the wounded will find relief, that families will find comfort and hope and the fallen are in peace.

Amen.

It has been a particularly eventful and difficult few weeks in my life, and I’ve really relied on prayer and examen (the Jesuit spiritual self-review) more than usual. I’d like to share two of the blessings that continually find a place in my heart, and whose applications seem infinite through any struggles in life.

May you see God’s light on the path ahead
When the road you walk is dark.
May you always hear,
Even in your hour of sorrow,
The gentle singing of the lark.
When times are hard may hardness
Never turn your heart to stone,
May you always remember
when the shadows fall—
You do not walk alone.

May the road rise up to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
and rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Please keep a close friend of mine, currently suffering from several medical conditions and having recently dealt with a traumatic event in his life, in your prayers.

Welcome to an enviroment that loves you and wants to be the best representation of God’s overwhelming, equal love to you. Always feel free to come and talk to us! Privacy will be respected, should it be asked for, and civilized open debate/discussion on homosexuality will be facilitated to our utmost ability. Come to us with praise, critism, questions, perspectives, anything! We welcome your perspective! We will post most anything, if not told otherwise, so long as it isn’t outright hateful. If we recieve hate-mail, we will address it one-on-one(in mature manner), it may get warrant getting blocked from the site, though, and/or reported if neccessary. However, not once have we needed to do that, so it’s no great concern!

On a sidenote, we also take, and publish sumbits! Give us your coming-out stories, coming-to-Christ stories, tales of hardship and overcoming those hardships, stories forgiveness, or anything you continue a struggle with(loss/death, suffering for Christ, suffering because of your orientation, addiction, sickness). You will NEVER be judged by us, you don’t have to accept our advice or review. If you just need to vent, VENT. If you need someone to listen, we can be ears. If you need counsel, we will give what we can!

Guys, thank you all for following us and I sincerely hope Andrew and I reflect our faith well on you and we help you grow in Christ or, if your not Christian(and that’s perfectly fine) I hope we at least help you understand Christianity better. I hope, for our non-Christian friends and followers, that you come to see Christians not as angry, racist, or intolerant. But rather as just people who do their best to love on others like Christ does, forgive when hurt, and defend those who can’t defend themselves; but we aren’t perfect. While real Christians do try their best to love others and be Christlike, we are still human and need forgiveness and patience like everyone else(hence the saying “Christians aren’t perfect, just forgiven”).
